PLOT

                                                                     Ji Dong Cheol is a North Korean Defector (person who gives up allegiance to one state in exchange of allegiance to other, due to difference in political, religious, or personal reasons) who lives in South Korea to avenge the killer of his wife and daughter. He is working as a hired driver of a corporate chairman, Park. When one day Korean intelligence kills this business man to acquire one of his possession, but he handed it to Ji before his death. Now Ji is on the run again, accused of murder, wanted for treason, desperate to uncover the hidden truth in Park’s possession and to carry out his personal vendetta.

                                                                      The Suspect can be considered as Korean Bourne movie, which is filled with fast moving storyline and some breathtaking stunts. There are a lots similarity of this movie with Matt Damon’s Bourne series, but still it’s not a copycat. There are two massive car chasing scenes, several shootouts and hand-to-hand combat which will make it as a high voltage thriller, from normal Korean movies it doesn’t have a dark theme or rainy conditions, instead uses daylight shots and intriguing background music.

PLOT

                                                                      Sarbjith is a loving brother and husband whose family comprises of wife and two daughters, he is living along with his sister and father and leading a joyful life in Punjab. One day after becoming drunk he accidently crosses the border and reaches Pakistan, where he gets captured and alleged as Ranjan Singh who was responsible for a serious of bombing in Lahore. His claims of innocence are ignored and he is tortured for months before he can inform his family of his captivity through a letter. There starts the battle of four women to liberate their beloved one from Capital Punishment.

                                                                       Sarbjith is biopic movie by Omung Kumar about the Indian prisoner Sarabjith who is accused of bombings and served 22 years in Pakistan jail. In can be a contender for this year’s National Awards for the stellar performance from both Aishwarya and Hooda, from the normal glamour and romantic roles here we can see a new face of Aishwarya Rai in the form of Dalbir, who devoted her entire life to release her brother.

                                                                       Randeep Hooda can be considered as the most underrated actor in India, the dedication level in this movie is almost as same as Christian Bale’s in ‘Machinist’, he reduces his 18 kg in just 28 days for the perfection of his title role. He portrayed the hardships of an Indian prisoner in Enemy territory with perfection. But the movie cannot be considered as a truthful depiction, it’s have certain changes to make it appeal for the Indian audiences. It was a critical and commercial success in India, but faced ban in Pakistan due to its anti-Pakistan feelings.

PLOT

                                                                           Kate lead his FBI rescue team into a home for a hostage situation. But instead of hostages they find a lot of decaying body inside the walls of the home and a trap which explodes and results in the death of two officers.

                                                                       She joins with a team of lawyer and an advisor as per instruction of her boss to find the man behind the bombing. But she finds a lot of unusual thing with her new team and even unaware of what she is getting involved with.

                                                                            Sicario was really a well acclaimed movie during 2015 and wins the Academy Award in three categories. The realistic approach towards this movie make its really a stunning piece of work. It was conceived at the height of the violence in Juárez (Mexican City famous for its drug cartel issues) in 2010, and portrayed the drug cartel activities in an outstanding manner. Another remarkable factor of the movie is about its background score and cinematography (Juárez helicam shots and climax scenes were all a visual treat). Dennis got a perfect start from this project that helped him to make the acclaimed flick “Arrival” and the upcoming anticipated movie “Blade Runner”.

PLOT

                                                                      In 1922, French occupied Vietnam, where the colonial government is using agents to suppress the rising rebellious movements against the government. Le Vang is such a kind of agent, who has a perfect record of accomplishment but feels remorse after killing a rebel boy during his duty. He questions himself whether he is on the right side. SoHe decided to help the Vo Thanh Thuy, a relentless revolutionary fighter, and the daughter of the rebel leader, and helping her to escape the jail of his superior. Now both are on their run from the agents and the army.

                                                                      Rebel is filled with some mind-blowing action sequence of Johnny Nguyen (Indian movie “7am arivu” fame), which says the life of Vietnam agents during the French invasion. Except a few mistakes in cinematography it’s a good recommendation for all those who love martial arts movie. This is also another example why Asian movies are the best in fight movies.

PLOT

                                                           Christian Wolff is a forensic Accountant who works in his small office “ZZZ Accounting”, tracking financial deceptions for various enterprises. He could overcome the problems of high function form of Autism from his childhood, which was only due to the efforts taken by his father to make him able to lead a normal life. But now he is using all those skills to do some of the dangerous forms of work under the alias “The Accountant”. Raymond "Ray" King, the director of FinCEN in the Treasury Department, who knows Christian by the alias "The Accountant" tries to track him down with the help of data analyst Marybeth Medina, threating to expose her criminal records if she refuses, while the time Christian have to face challenges in the form of Living Robotics, a robotic corporation.

                                                           “The Accountant” is a 2016 crime thriller from Gavin O Connor, where we can see Ben Affleck in an entirely different attire from that of Bruce Wayne from his DC Universe. It will be a good treat for all those who love crime thriller genre.

PLOT

                                                            George Iceman Chambers visits Russian Federation for doing some commercials and for a series of boxing matches, but subsequently he gets framed with the possession of cocaine and send to the Russian prison, where he finds Yuri Boyka, the undisputed mixed martial arts inmate fighter in the illegal matches taking place inside the prison. Boyka was in a rage to beat Iceman and to prove to the prison world that he is the best, even Mob Boss Gaga too wants the same thing to happens, to win the side-bets to make profit. So, Gaga offers Iceman a chance to get an early release, if agrees to fight with Boyka. Will Chambers accept the offer? if he does will be able to overcome Boyka, who is having a different fighting style.

                                                             Undisputed 2 is a sequel to the movie Undisputed and revolves around the story of George Iceman, a role orginally played by Ving Rhames in the first film. This installment deals entirely with Mixed Martial Arts and introduces a new face Scot Adkins, who is having a more raging and strong character than White. It was a direct to video martial arts film, and unlike the earlier part it made money and praises.

PLOT

                                                           Munroe Hutchens is the undisputed champion in the secret betting boxing competition that takes place in sweetwater prison. He faces a new challenge when former world heavyweight champion George Iceman Chambers is convicted of rape and is sentenced to serve his jail term in sweetwater prison. Due to his thug nature, there is a brewing hatred for the Heavyweight champion, so an old mob boss named Ripstein senses a potential in a match between Hutchens and Iceman and fixes a plan to make them fight, so the entire sweetwater waits for the match where the World Heavyweight Champion takes on Undisputed Champion of Sweetwater.

                                                           “Undisputed” can be categorized into a Drama-sports movie, it can’t be named as one of the best sports movies, as it contains only two full boxing fights. But still the climax fight give us a pleasure of watching a real one. It was not able to become a commercial success, due to the casting of two black actors in lead, but it made a great impact in the Home Video release, that gives them the courage start the great undisputed franchise and became a huge hit in the Home Video Releases.

PLOT

                                  After the death of Superman, intelligence officer Amanda Waller decides to form a team of deadly criminals called Task Force X. So, she unites hitman Deadshot, former psychiatrist Harley Quinn, pyrokinetic ex-gangster El Diablo, opportunistic thief Captain Boomerang, genetic mutation Killer Croc, and specialized assassin Slipknot, under the supervision of Col Rick Flag. Waller possess the heart of witch-goddess known as Enchantress whom was possessed in the body of archaeologists June Moone, girlfriend of Col Rick. Rick was forced to take the job in order save his girlfriend. Enchantress resurrects her brother from the tomb and decides to punish the entire mankind for enslaving her. They attack the Midway city and turns the residents as monsters for their army. Now it’s the time for Task Force X in action.

                                   Suicide Squad was one of the most anticipated movie of 2016, but to be fair it was not able to rise to that expectations. The theme for the movie and the casting except Viola Davis was good but the problem is  with the over-jammed story and David Ayer’s direction, which showcases just so much of the action but is shot so badly, with almost pitch black backgrounds and a lot of shaky camerawork. and it lacks a good script, some of the positives of the movie are its songs (skrillex really made some pumping beats for the movie even it got 2 Grammy nominations). Another important factor that I would like to discuss is about the role of Joker, Jared Leto faces the toughest job in the movie because to reprise the role of Joker is like a Herculean task due to the standard created by Nolan and Ledger, but Leto portrayed a Joker in his style without adapting any elements from Ledger and made his job a good one.

                                     As a DC fan, I would like to see some good stuff from their franchise, now the entire hopes lays on wonder woman and Justice league.
