PLOT                             


                                                                                 Krish and Laxmi are two happy couples living in the downhill side of Himalayas, as a new family, D-costa family with parents, grandfather and two children Jenny and Sarah moves as their neighbours. The two family gets along well with Jenny, the eldest daughter having crush with Krish, but during the house warming night of D-costa family Jenny jumps into a well, Krish saved her from sinking, but he also get frieghtened by seeing an evil figure inside the well. After that night, D-costa family faces a serious of troubles and Jenny started getting possesd by a demon.
                                      Aval is a 2017 Tamil horror film by Milind Rau, it had also released in Telugu and Hindi as "The House Next Door". It have a typical Horror movie story but in the climax as always a Twist is present to make it diffrent from other works. There is no doubt that tamil industry is producing  quality horror movies in India(Demonty colony, Maya are all some examples). Even Aval is also can be considered as a product of that quality. It creates an ambience just like that of  Hollywood movie creates, even the director give refernece and homage to other Famous Hollywood works, like Jenny mentioning an event comming on "Friday the 13th", reading a book in the name "The Exorcist", as a result the influences of these movies can also be seen in this movie. There are no much extreme horror scenes but still there is some that will shake you from the seat. Backgroundmusic were all good to create an Horror atmosphere. There were a lots intimate scene between Andrea and Siddharth, the movie is filled with liplocks, there were a time in South Indian Industry in which Liplocks were considerd to be sensored, but now these scenes are getting prelevent in Indian movies. Andrea Jeremiah is making bold steps in each of her movie, as here also she was too good in creating a chemistry between Siddharth. Makes up could have been better, there are a lots of good frames in the movie which was so appealling.
                                                  So if you consider for diffrent style Indian Horror movie with some good frames, then this can be considered.

                                         Prem Dilwale is a stage actor who mostly displays Lord Rama plays. The amount he receives from the plays are contributing to the Upahar foundation, an initiative by Princess Maithili. Prem comes to know that Maithili is coming to Pritambur to attend the coronation of Prince Vijay Singh as the King of Pritambur, whom with she is engaged, he along with his friend Kanhaiya goes to Pritambur to meet Maithili and to give their contribution. Meanwhile Vijay Singh has been attacked by someone and he barely manages to escape the assassination, but he fell unconscious, so the Minsiter Diwan Sahab and Vijay’s security head, Sanjay finds Prem who looks alike Vijay to be as the Prince for the upcoming days inorder to prevent the postponing of coronation as well as to bring the culprits to the public.

                                                                                   Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is based on the novel "The Prisoner of Zenda" by Anthony Hope Hawkins. It doesn’t get much attention and impact like a usual Salman Khan movie, even if it manages to perform well in Box Office, since it is released in a time where Salman sets himself as an action hero.  Salman does not have the skills like AmirKhan nor he dance like Shah Ruk Khan, but his grace and screen prescence itself is enough for a movie. I think more than like an action hero, he well portrays the innocent characters. The movie is studded with many vibrant songs as it will reverberate your ears for long. It have fun, emotions, action everything in the proper place. Sonam Kapoor as gorgeous as always, Anupam Kher once again does sincerity to his character role. But I don’t know why Neil Nithin Mukesh movies are not getting much attention in Bollywood, though he posses good looks and physique.

                                                                                      This is the fourth collaboration of Salman Khan and the director Sooraj Barjatya. As a token of respect to the director Salman Khan did not charge any fees for his movie. This is most expensive movie of Sooraj Bajatya as he is known for making low-budget movies. It recorded the maximum number of pre-booking release during its time of release. It had surpassed the lifetime International collection “Bahuballi: The Beginning” in just 11 days. It grossed almost 400crores (US $ 61 million) in its total business. It will be a good choice to watch with your family for a weekend.

PLOT                                      

                                        When Kick-Ass showed to the world that anyone can become a superhero, a lot of them comes for the public good in superhero attire, But Dave Lizewski had already stopped being Kick-Ass. When each day a new superhero dressed person is coming, so Dave decided to bring Kick-Ass back, in a more badass way, so he asks Mindy’s help to make him more tough, as their preparations are going well, Marcus warned Mindy and asked her not to be Hit-girl. So, she started to be as a normal 9^th grader, while Dave finds new members to form a superhero team (Justice Forever) led by ex-mobster colonel Stars and Stripes, but they are threatened by Red Mist who is renamed to be a new supervillain with his new recruits? Will Justice Forever win? Will Mindy have a normal life in school.?

                                                            Kick-Ass 2 is a sequel to the first part and was directed by Jeff Wadlow and co-produced by Mathew Vaughn, who directs the first part. Hit-girl as always steals the screen. But the movie also conway the fact that when someone is destined to do something, they can’t follow another path, even if they try they will not be successful in that life. It also gives a message that to be a superhero that you never require superpower or mask, it’s the courage that needed, comparing with the first part its little bit emotional, the fun elements had reduced only to the first half. The protagonist was not at all good, there could have been better options. Jim Carrey does not get much screen presence in the movie; the movie also didn’t perform well at the Box-office also. However, Vaughn is trying for a Hit-girl Prequel as well as a Kick-Ass 3. Some may not like this comparing with the first part, but still its  watchable.

                                                                     Dave Lizewski is fond of comics and superheroes, he wants to be a masked crusader. But he doesn’t have any superpowers like Peter Parker nor he is rich like Bruce Wayne. But still he does what his mind says and started to roam in night as a masked vigilante in the name of Kick-ass. But once when he accidently becomes a threat to the local mobster Franco, his life becomes in danger.

                                                      Kick-Ass is a 2010 action comedy film by Mathew Vaughn based on the comics of the Kick Ass in the same name, it became a real work only after the director Mathew Vaughn decides to increase its budget, before that none of the production company was interested in the project, then Lionsgate showed interest and it released. Kick-Ass is not a typical action superhero movie where you can watch unstoppable action, it’s an action comedy movie which shows that how will it be when an average person becomes a super hero. Its been after a long time that I’ am watching a Nicholas Cage movie. Even if he doesn’t have much screen presence, he made an impact in his small role. He used the mannerism and speech modulation as Big Daddy like the Adam West’s “Batman” (1966). In the movie the story of Big Daddy was changed from that of comics, but the co- creator Mark Miller itself likes the film version of Big-Daddy than the comics one. There is many memorable background music in the movie, my personal favorite is the Big Daddy’s music during the raid scene in the warehouse. It was also used in the movie “28 days later”.

                                                      
                                             More than the hero of the movie Dave or Kick-Ass, I like Hit-girl who was just like a tiny Wonder Woman and cute at the same time. But there were many controversies for using obscene language and violence by a child.  Chloë Grace Moretz also faces many criticisms for portraying Hit-girl in the movie, the movie didn’t have much impact during the release due to clash with How to train your Dragon and Nightmare on the Elm street. But in the torrent and DVDs it rockets the sales and became the 7^th most illegally downloaded movies of all time and shows its cult following. I don’t know whether DC and Marvel fans will like this comedy superhero movie, but if you want fun this is the best choice.

PLOT

                                                                                 Ancient idols from different temples in the state of Telangana get continuously robbed. So, the minister representing the Telangana state in the central ministry, Eshwar prsasad gives his word to the public that he will resign the ministerial post if he is unable to bring the looters to the public. The Chief Minister of Telangana considers it as a move to topple the ministry so he appoints Vaishnavi Natarajan,a CBI officer to find evidence to put the robberies in the name of Eshwar prasad. She takes Private Secretary of Eshwar prasad, Chanchala out from the prison and accomadates her into an ancient fort known as Baagamathie Bungalow for interrogation. They think that it will be a safe place for interrogation, but an uninvited guest, the evil soul of Queen Baagamathie started giving sleepless nights to Chanchala. Now she must face the supernatural powers alone, but others are considering it as her move to escape. How come an IAS officer like Chanchala became prisoner? Will she survive in Baagamathie Bunglow? Can CBI bring the real culprits of Robbery? Will Eshwar Prasad remain in the post as Minister?

                                                                               If you are feeling that there are lots of unanswered questions, don’t worry a single climax of this movie is enough to answer all these. Baagamathie cannot be a considered as pure horror thriller, but as a thriller it’s fantastic. It will always make you curious for the next scene. You may feel it as repetition if you have watched previous movies of Anushka where she reprises the role of Queen (Arundhadhi, Rudramma Devi), But I think Anushka and Nayantara are the only two actress in South Indian industry who can give solo hits, even the Bollywood does not have such “Lady Superstars”. Anushka shetty became the second actress after Sridevi to have a $1 million grosser in US Box-office with Baagamathie.  She had once again made an outstanding performance in this movie, she reduced 20 kilos to be as Chanchala.  Even if there are illogical scenes (that’s a trade mark of Telugu movies) the director had done a good job, he gives the roles to all appropriate persons, not any unwanted songs, and even chooses new one for the Protagonists role. If you want a thriller movie you can prefer it and never approach this movie with the mind of Horror.

                                   Captain James T Kirk and his USS Enterprise is in their 5 year mission to explore the universe, and its been three years since they have started their journey, so as a halt station they have come to Yorktown, the advanced Starfleet Facility (each movie they coin some place or ship as advanced one,,,, how many  advanced is their?). The Yorktown received a distress signal from a stranger ship and an Alien explorer have asked the help of Yorktown facility to help its crew member who were lost in the Nebula where they were doing their research. So, Kirk and his team started their new mission to help the Alien, but in the Nebula, they encountered an entirely new threat.

                                                           
                                                          Star Trek: Beyond is the third part of rebooted series of the famous franchise, unlike the other two parts Justin Linn directed this, it didn’t impress me just like the other parts, maybe it misses the factor of J.J Abrams (Previous parts director) as he was busy with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.  I think first time in this series, I found a complete new Alien language, in all the other Aliens knows English or maybe they have only signs for communications. These are not a pure sci-fic movie but instead an entertainment one which uses sci-fic genre. It’s a dedication to the yester year actor Leonard Nimoy, who represented Spock in 70s and 80s. Anton Yelchin (Scotty) also died before the release the movie. It was not a Box-office success, due to the poor planning of Paramount pictures, because they released the movie with “Jason Bourne “Suicide Squad”, just like the typical fashion in a franchise this one is also getting diminished by the quality of movies (so standalone movies are much better than the franchise).

                                         As the world faces various catastrophe in different forms, it will be a huge task for only a single nation to face it. So, a group of 17 countries forms a satellite chain known as Dutch boy to control the weather, as a result it prevents the world from all hazards. Jake is the scientists behind this great achievement, but later he is put out of the power by the international commitie for punching a bodyguard in his face and for acting without authorization. So, his brother Max got the opportunity to lead the international team behind Dutch boy. This also pays a huge gap between the relation of Max and Jake. Three years later, these satellites turn against their own creators lashing a series of disasters in different parts of the world. So, the committee again recalls Jake to investigate the reason behind the anomaly. This time both must keep their personal emotions aside to find is it a natural cause or a fabricated cause that results in the un expected behavior of satellites, thereby protecting the world. 

                                            Geostorm is the first feature directorial debut of Dean Devlin. He had collaborated with Roland Emmerich on 2012 (2009), Universal Soldier (1992) and Stargate (1994), as a result Emmerich’s  influences can be seen on different scenes, even this movie was also considered as a reboot of The Noah’s Ark Principle (1984), a science fiction movie of Emmerich about weather controlling satellites before its release.   There are many disaster movies in Hollywood, but most of them deals with natural disasters only, but in this it deals with natural disasters in more scientific way, where man made satellites are controlling the weather. Fortune is still not favoring Gerad Butler, even tough both the movie and his performance were good, but it still didn’t make an impact in the box-office.  The movie first started production under the Paramount pictures but later moved to Warner Brothers, it had been reshooted after poor reception from the test screening. But still that doesn’t help the movie to perform well in Box-office. There is no much wow factor in this movie, it can be an another passing time movie for everyone.

                                                USS Enterprise is in a mission to save an endangered species in an other planet from an active volcano, here also Captain Kirk's reckless behaviour nearly compromises the mission and also exposes their spaceship to the natives of the planet. So Kirk has been demoted to an academy cadet and takes away his captain position of Enterprise. Shortly afterward starfleet senior officers gathers to discuss about a recent bombing took place in London, during their meeting, a rogue turned officer, John Harrison attacks the building and results in the death of many senior officers including Kirk's mentor Pike. Scott finds that the terrorist is absconding in the Klingon province. So once again Kirk gathers his crew to capture John without starting a war with Klingon. Will he succeed?

                                                          This is the sequel to the rebooted star trek series. It have all the stars who reprise their roles just like the first movie, with Benedict Cumberbatch playing the protagonists role. I personelly like this one better than the first part. It include more fight sequence as well as a concrete story. It was also a commercial success in its time of release, it was also the first Star Trek movie to release in 3D.

PLOT
                                            In a far future the federation star ship USS Kelvin comes across a lightning storm, while investigating that they found out that it is a black hole but soon they were attacked by a massive Alien ship and it severley damages the USS Kelvin but the acting captain George Kirk saves his few men along with his pregnent wife by allowing them to escape in very few rescue ships. Kirk hears his new born baby James Kirk cry and collides his ship into the Alien vessel. After several years a senior officer in the star fleet Christopher Pike finds James Kirk in a bar fight, it upsets Pike he makes Kirk to remember his Father's effort who saves the lives of many men by sacrificing his own life. So Kirk decides to join the Starfleet. In his acadamic life he is able to crack the Kobyashi Maru test, which was considered as one of the toughest. But in an enquiry officer Spock finds that Kirk beats the test by uploading a software into the test server, this starts the rivalry between spock and kirk. But at that time starfleet commands got a distress signal from the neighbouring Vulcan planet. USS Enterprise, a new spaceship of starfleet under the captainship of Pike was enroute to Vulcan, officer Spock and all the new brilliant recruits were all assigned to Enterprise, with the help of Kirk's friend Dr Mccoy he is also got the chance to board the enterpise, signs of the signal interpreted by his batchmate Uhura makes Kirk to identify that its the same lightning storm that destroys the USS Kelvin. So Kirk have to set aside his rivalry between spock to face the enemy, at the same time the new recruits like Uhura, Mccoy all have to show their talents in this time of crisis.
                                                
                                                         Star Trek was a product of Gene Roddenberry and a popular franchise in the end of twentith century it released many telivision series, novels,games and even had an amusement park based on the entertainment franchise. The orginal series is still aired as a telivision series, The paramount pictures produced 13 Star Trek movies, out of which six follows the original series and from 7-10 it follows a new generation cast and basically based on the hit television series of the same name.In the year 2009 an alternate timeline based movie of Star Trek was released, and for this new spin off Paramount chooses the Sci-fic specialists J.J Abrams.
                                                        
                                                       The movie simply makes the viewers to understand the complexities of physics, unlike other movies it doesn't confuse by portaying timetravel. Action sequences were all good, Abrams avoided the blue and green screen for the movie as a result we never experience any vulgar CGI. It was a huge box office hit during the time of its release. It also became the first Star Trek movie to recieve an oscar ( won Oscar for best make up, you will not find out that the villain captain Nero is portrayed by Eric Bana unless noticing the credit scenes). It will be good choice for all science lovers and a treat of VFX.
