PLOT
When Kick-Ass showed to the world that anyone can become a superhero, a
lot of them comes for the public good in superhero attire, But Dave Lizewski
had already stopped being Kick-Ass. When each day a new superhero dressed
person is coming, so Dave decided to bring Kick-Ass back, in a more badass way,
so he asks Mindy’s help to make him more tough, as their preparations are going
well, Marcus warned Mindy and asked her not to be Hit-girl. So, she started to
be as a normal 9th grader, while Dave finds new members to form a
superhero team (Justice Forever) led by ex-mobster colonel Stars and Stripes,
but they are threatened by Red Mist who is renamed to be a new supervillain with
his new recruits? Will Justice Forever win? Will Mindy have a normal life in
school.?
Kick-Ass 2 is a sequel to the first part and was directed by Jeff Wadlow
and co-produced by Mathew Vaughn, who directs the first part. Hit-girl as
always steals the screen. But the movie also conway the fact that when someone
is destined to do something, they can’t follow another path, even if they try
they will not be successful in that life. It also gives a message that to be a
superhero that you never require superpower or mask, it’s the courage that
needed, comparing with the first part its little bit emotional, the fun
elements had reduced only to the first half. The protagonist was not at all
good, there could have been better options. Jim Carrey does not get much screen
presence in the movie; the movie also didn’t perform well at the Box-office
also. However, Vaughn is trying for a Hit-girl Prequel as well as a Kick-Ass 3.
Some may not like this comparing with the first part, but still its watchable.
