MY
VIEW
“Sarkar” is the new movie in partnership with
the hitmaker A. R Murugadoss and Tamil Super star Vijay. These two names are enough
for the high expectation of the movie, and it lives up to that expectation. Each
and every movie of Vijay deal with a social issues and this one is also not an
exception. It shows the Dark side of Tamil politics. The movie maintains the
thrill and makes it as engaging one till the climax. A.R Rahman once again
rocked the theaters with pumping backgrounds, but I don’t see that rocking
factor in any songs, it was just an above average one. The biggest influencing
factor is none other than Vijay, he filled the movie with energy in all phases.
His dialogue delivery has changed in this movie, we can see much energy in
delivering the dialogues and the superhuman nature of fights is also reduced a
lot. He is not a class actor like others but can give everything for a common
man to have a wonderful theater experience.
A.R Murugadoss used the current ambiguity in
Tamil Nadu politics. He sends a message in his movie about government cheating
common man by providing small concession to the people while they make huge
black money. He states that in his cameo appearance in the movie as a person
who puts a government supplied Mixer Grinder into fire. His previous movie with
Vijay “Kathi” also deal with the exploitation of farmers by Corporate world,
but he along with Sun pictures payed 30 lakhs to writer Varun Rajendran for Plagiarism.
If we remember Super star Rajani’s rise
it was due to the movies of K.S Ravikumar and the same is happening with both
Murugadoss and Vijay.
VERDICT
This
is not a class or cult movie but pure entertainer which have all the elements
of a typical Indian Masala movie. I found a lot of sites giving negative
reviews for it, but sure this not such a bad one and they are purely degrading.
