Language- Tamil (India)
Genre - Political, Thriller
Director - R.S Durai Senthil Kumar
*ing -
Dhanush (Kodi, Anbu), Trisha (Rudhra), Anupama (Muttai Malathi)
PLOT
Murugan
is a deaf and dump who wants to be a master of speeches and an ardent supporter
of his political party. When he is blessed with twin boys, he named one of them
as Kodi (meaning Flag). Maran lit himself up while protesting against the
opening of a chemical factory. The story now concentrates on the life of twins,
one is Kodi, a rough and tough daring youth in politics giving energetic
speeches while other is Anbu is a college lecturer and pacifist.
Dhanush
who produced R.S Durai Senthilkumar’s previous two films, “Ethir Neechel” and “Kakki
Sattai” played dual roles for the first time, comparing with his last movie “Thodari”,
this is a far better movie in every sense. The movie deals with the politics
and love of both the twins. It will be a treat as both political and as masala.
Dhanus once again proved his screen presence with punch dialogues and super
fights. But like his other movies it lacks good songs and his dance pieces,
even though the music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan (Soodhukavum, Madras, Kabali
fame). Trisha made a good comeback in this movie. Anupama (Premam Fame) also
made a grace perfomence even if she lacks the number of scenes.
